CONFIRMED: Russell Coight Is Coming Back To Your TV In 2017
The man, the myth, the legend, Russell Coight, will be returning to our screens early next year.
Network Ten have revealed their television lineup for 2017, with Glenn Robbin‘s All Aussie Adventures among the featured programs.
Speaking to Mumbrella, Ten’s chief content officer Beverley McGarvey said now is the time for All Aussie Adventures to return.
“That show hasn’t been on for 15 years and there’s a real gap in the market in terms of commercial television for evening comedy,” she said.
“Glenn Robbins is a very accomplished performer and we’re confident that will be something that really appeals to people.”
The cult favourite last aired in 2002 and while only spanning 14 episodes and one telemovie, it won over a legion of fans.
Since starring in All Aussie Adventures, Glenn Robbins has appeared in Kath & Kim, as well as a sweep of game shows such as Thank God You’re Here and Have You Been Paying Attention?
Expect new laughs when All Aussie Adventures airs next year.
