Controversy Magnet Piers Morgan Blames Kim Kardashian For Gunpoint Robbery In Damning Editorial
In the aftermath of Kim Kardashian’s terrifying ordeal in Paris, being held at gunpoint, tied up, and gagged before being robbed of millions of dollars of jewelery – there are an increasing number of people pointing the finger of blame at Kim.
Adding to the pile of nonsense and heartlessness, controversy magnet Piers Morgan has penned an editorial for Daily Mail where he lambastes Kim. Titled: ‘That robbery was a wake-up call Kim. Time to decide if you want to be the smart, warm woman you really are or the trash-talking monster you were becoming’.
Dear @KimKardashian, this awful robbery was your wake up call.
I suggest you heed it.

In a vastly patronising piece, Morgan says that Kim being robbed – and fearing she was going to be raped or killed – was the best thing that could have happened to her. He says now is the time for her to turn her back on her previous ways of being a proud wealthy women that flaunts her riches, as he comments:
“As always, you wanted us all to share in your real-time joyful self-congratulation as you Snapchatted photos of yourself delightedly sporting your dazzling $4 million diamond wedding ring,” he said. “You were attacked Kim because you publicly flaunted your success and excess to the point that somebody else wanted it for themselves.”
Alright. I'm done with this. You don't have to LIKE Kim Kardashian, but for f*cks sake don't blame her for getting robbed! #victimshaming

The British columnist echoes what the French police chief has already said, that Kim is at fault for displaying her expensive jewelery on social media.
According to the police chief and Piers, Kim is the first celebrity to ever do this. This theory screams of victim blaming, as if what happened to Kim was some kind of cosmic karma.
Piers goes on to say that Kim has become a very different person over the last few years.
“Something changed in you. You grew slowly coarser and snarkier, and started bombarding the world with regular naked selfies – claiming, absurdly, they were promoting feminism and ‘empowering women’,” he said.
I'm just waiting for piers morgan to pipe up and blame kim kardashian's robbery on the fact she posts naked selfies

So now apparently Kim’s body confidence is what led her down this whole path to becoming a victim of crime.
Let’s get this straight. Kim doesn’t need the advise of Pier on how to live. In what is an obscene treatment of a victim of trauma, now is not the time to tell Kim what mistakes you think she has made in her life so far.
Morgan said recently on Good Morning Britain that he has already seen change for the good in Kim, complimenting the fact that she has not posted on social media since the attack.
It seems, devastating trauma that has successfully silenced a once vocal and confident woman is a positive thing in Pier’s book.
