Courtney Barnett Explains Aussie Slang And Then Slays SNL Performance

Courtney Barnett continues to win over the yanks, this time nailing her Saturday Night Live debut and serving up some lessons in Aussie slang – bloody ripper!

The Melbourne singer-songwriter was a long way from the humble backstreets of Brunswick street as she belted out a rendition of tracks ‘Nobody Really Cares If You Don’t Go To The Party‘ and later ‘Pedestrian At Best‘.

She also hang out backstage with cast member Bobby Moynihan to dish up some Aussie slang – including the likes of ‘ute’ – ‘singlet’. They then attempted to call national treasure Paul Hogan (AKA THE Crocodile Hunter). Watch all the clip below.
