‘Crossushi’ Is A Thing That Now Exists, As If 2017 Could Get Any Worse
As if cruffins, sushi burgers or cronuts couldn’t get any more complicated, some sick bastard has gone ahead and invented ‘crossushi’ — that’s a sushi-inside-croissant monstrosity that I’m giving a hard pass.
We can all blame Mr Holmes Bakery in LA for ruining sushi for us all by dreaming up this mess.
Too early in the morning to see a sushi-stuffed croissant. https://t.co/3ogg1itF2v pic.twitter.com/CC9yC8M8I3

It’s not an attractive combo. Why someone had the urge to insert a california roll into a flaky croissant is confusing as hell. Merging Japanese and French food together is a flavour mix we could live without. But here we are and food trends have officially gone too far.
You've heard of cronuts, but have you heard of 'crossushi'? https://t.co/pg4yCMQJ4c @mashable pic.twitter.com/BBQx7lN78A

No, just no. Food mashups are over. Cancelled.
