Dan Aykroyd Rates New Ghostbusters, Says It’s Funnier & Scarier Than Originals

Quieting down the naysayers that have had a vendetta against Ghostbusters ever since the all-female reboot was announced, the ultimate Ghostbusters OG Dan Aykroyd has said it’s bloody great.

Aykroyd saw a test screening of the film, after which he took to his Facebook page to say the film had “more laughs and more scares” than the first two films. Fuck yes!

Are we really surprised? With the shared comedic force that is Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy, off course it’s gonna be good. We will have to wait until the film is released on July 14 to see just how good.

The comments on Aykroyd’s post have been less than thrilled, with a bunch of man-children unhappy that Aykroyd has dared to attack the original films. Well…
