Have you ever been on a first date with someone that’s going fine, but then they do something or say something that gives you the absolute ick?

Or sometimes it’s their smell or even the sounds of their voice or laugh. Dating turn-offs are a deeply personal thing. For me, I can’t get past poor dental hygiene or dirty fingernails. This especially annoys me given how much effort most women put into first dates. If you can’t find the energy to clean your teeth or wash your damn hands, I can’t muster the energy to text you back, buddy.

Then there are the personality deal breakers, like lack of empathy, narcissism, or just being a total pessimist — there’s so many qualities that can just immediately quash any feelings you may had had for someone.
