International music icon David Bowie has dropped a new song accompanied by an epic ten minute shot film. As expected, both are equally beautiful and trippy AF.

Titled “★” (pronounced Blackstar), the lead single and title track is a 10 minute-long short film, directed by Johan Reneck and starring Bowie. The ‘jazz-tronic’ song is one of eight tracks set to appear on the musician’s 25th album, and if Blackstar is anything to go by, his awesomely, whacky style hasn’t faded.

Bowie has been active the past few years after a long hiatus from music. In 2013 he released his first studio album in over a decade titled ‘The Next Day’ and also featured alongside Arcade Fire on ‘Reflektor‘ later that year.

Keep a look out for ‘★’ which is set to hit the world on January 8th, 2016.
