Britney Spears is forever our teen queen of pop and bare midriffs. She has given us so much over her years in the spotlight and we are eternally grateful.

Full disclosure, I’m a big Britney fan. Like, BIG. She’s an iconic pop goddess and her music content has given us a raw look into her life and how she’s dealt with fame.

Back in the days when watching music video marathons on TV was a staple part of the weekend, Britney Spears videos were dominating. Because they are great. Always. Forever.

From her iconic early vids to here and now, Britney continues to shine because she’s a star and she’s still got it.

So we’re going to celebrate Britney’s magnificence with a look through our fave Spears music videos, rated from great to even greater. Because when it comes to Britney, it is always fire content.

Let’s do this.

15. Stronger (2000)

Points for the chair dancing sequence and the emotional ~in the rain~ shots. Not her strongest (haha get it) but still pretty damn great.

14. From the Bottom of My Broken Heart (1999)

WOW this is a bit of a 90’s overload. Would you look at that bucket hat!!! Young Britney is so adorbs and there is just about nothing more wholesome than this montage of her and her “first love” hanging out at the water tower.

13. Born to Make You Happy (1999)

Britney’s eye makeup game is enough to make this vid a winner – but on top of that, we’ve got a lit dance sequence happening on some kind of outer space platform. PLUS a cute pillow fight ~flirt~ scene. Hell to the yea.

12. Overprotected (2001)

Gr8 dance sesh at the end of the vid and absofuckinlutely gr8 denim get up. Yes to all things Britney.

11. Work B**Ch (2013)

This may not be the most imaginative video but we are here for Britney comebacks and Britney being super extra in general.

10. Everytime (2004)

This vid is waaaay darker than I remembered. It’s some seriously emotionally loaded content and it’s softness makes it stand out from the usual Britney dance-number-included music video. We feel for Brit and her lifetime of dealing with intense scrutiny <3

9. Me Against The Music (2003)

First of all Britney’s ‘suited up’ look is hands down 10/10. Secondly, The Madonna vs. Britney dance-off is some of the best choreography of all of Brit’s vids and it’s a treat to see the two icons killing it together.

8. (You Drive Me) Crazy (1999)

If you haven’t seen the 1999 teen film Drive Me Crazy with Melissa Joan Hart (AKA Sabrina The Teenage Witch) and Adrian Grenier (AKA Vinnie from Entourage) then you my friend are missing out. Britney’s hit track featured in the movie so of course the main characters featured in her video. Also that green crop top tho…

7. Circus (2008)

As far as comeback’s go Brit’s 2008 comeback was worthy of HYPE. The ‘Circus’ video is perfectly polished and elaborate and once again Ms. Spears shows everyone she knows exactly how iconic she is when it comes to entertainment and the media ‘circus’.

6. Piece Of Me (2013)

A prime example of Brit asserting her power over the media by criticising their wack behaviour. Her attitude in this clip is too perfect. She knows what’s up.

5. Lucky (2000)

A personal favourite, Brit uses the alias ‘Lucky’ to communicate that fame does not necessarily = happiness. Also Britney looks so beautiful in old Hollywood glamour style ahhhhh yes B!

4. Sometimes (1998)

ICONIC. So much white. So much purity. So many wholesome beach shots. So much white dude running on the sand with a dog. #memories.

3. Baby One More Time (1998)

While Britney’s sexualisation of the school girl character was undeniable problematic you really can’t help but love this video.

2. Toxic (2003)

There is so much happening in this video. The characters, the murder, THE LOOKS. Not sure what’s best, the red wig, the stewardess outfit or the bejazzled nude bodysuit. But probs the bodysuit tbh.

1. Oops I Did It Again (2000)

Nothing I don’t love about this music video. Britney legit made history with this red outfit and we will never forget the Titanic necklace interlude where Brit has to deal with a stage five clinger. Gold.

In Conclusion, Britney is fire.

The end.
