Dom Calarco Has Addressed Drama With KAK On ‘I’m A Celebrity’
Domenica Calarco has told The Project that she’d happily get a wine with I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! co-star and nemesis Kerri-Anne Kennerley.
After Dom and KAK did not hit it off on the show, Dom told The Project she’d be happy to catch up with KAK. “Wines on me,” she said, before joking about leaving the inner west of Sydney to meet Kerri-Anne in the affluent Eastern Suburbs area of Woollahra.
ICYMI, Dom and KAK got in a heated argument while on the show over the special privileges KAK was allowed, including bringing makeup into the jungle, something other contestants were banned from doing.
Things then escalated in a challenge where KAK refused to take part in a challenge to win stars to get the rest of her campmates fed, which led to Dom calling Kerri-Anne a c-u-next-tuesday in a scene that didn’t get aired.
“I haven’t spoken to her personally, but I have passed on a message to her,” Dom said. “I have apologised for my language, I wouldn’t use that language again now that I’m fed.”
Dom said her choice of language wasn’t “great”, but she stood by how she felt at the time. “I sincerely regret my way of articulating during that conversation. The moment was really tense and frustrating, we were all starving back at camp, and to see someone blatantly not wanting to participate was really disheartening,” Dom said.
“In the jungle, you have to be selfless. So for me to see that power imbalance and to see someone who didn’t want to give it a go, it was really frustrating and I let loose.”
So there you have it, folks! I’d love to be a fly on the wall for Dom’s wine with KAK in Woollahra, but I won’t hold my breath.
