A Donald Trump Protest In London Inspired Some Very British Signs & We Can’t Stop Laughing
Donald Trump was in the UK over the weekend, and the UK isn’t particularly happy about it.
The American President’s visit sparked mass protests in London, with nearly 250,000 people turning out to voice their opposition to… y’know… all the terrible things he does.
Of course, this being Britain, the rally had quite a distinctive local flavour, as seen in many of the excellent signs.
Here are our personal fave signs that are just delightfully British:

The absolute worst thing about London protests are the twee placards: “make tea, not war”, “so bad even librarians are protesting” etc. Look at this selection of unspeakable tosspots, for example. pic.twitter.com/1kdPKH4WX0

Protesters in Trafalgar Square were addressed by Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, who told the crowd “when we unite together with common objectives, we can all win”.
A recent poll showed that 77 percent of Britons have an unfavorable opinion of Donald Trump.
