Joshua Jackson Is Truly Terrifying In The First ‘Dr. Death’ Trailer
This is one to go in any self-respected true crime fan’s calendar: the TV adaption of Dr. Death is coming this year and the first trailer is here.
The story of Texas surgeon Dr. Christopher Duntsch — popularised in Wondery podcast Dr. Death — is something straight out of a horror movie. Throughout his career as a neurosurgeon, Duntsch carelessly botched procedures resulting in dozens of his patients being maimed or in some cases, even killed. He is currently serving a life sentence in prison.
In the upcoming series, the infamous Duntsch will be played by Joshua Jackson, who in the short trailer comes across as simultaneously terrifying and charming. Christian Slater and Alex Baldwin are cast as the surgeons who would go on to expose Duntsch’s atrocities.
Dr. Death will stream in Australia on Stan. While a premiere date has not been confirmed, the teaser says it will be screening this summer in the US, which means it could debut as early as next month. Yes please!
