DROOL: UberEATS Is Launching In Sydney Today & Here’s How To Order
Get ready for a real treat Sydney, UberEATS launches in your city today in collaboration with over 100 top-notch restaurants.
From 11am, Sydneysiders will be able to download the UberEATS app (or access it via the Uber app) to choose from hundreds of dishes from eateries, including Three Blue Ducks, Sake, Butter and Thievery and Fratelli Fresh.
Having experienced the wonders of this glorious service from Melbourne, we’re really happy for you guys to join the club. Right now, it’s unknown if Uber will run the same promotion as they did down here, but if they do (and we presume the will), you’re in for a real treat. The promotion works by giving users $20 free credit towards a meal for every user referred to the platform. The deal is sweetened by also giving the referee who uses your code $20 towards their first order. It’s a win win. We’ve literally been taking turns ordering and chowing down on free home delivered dinner this winter. Delicious. And with delivery also free for a limited time, make the most of it while you can!
The service is also a big win for restaurants who don’t currently offer a delivery option, and also can gain access to a bigger network of potential customers.
Darren Robertson who heads up Three Blue Ducks says the crew are excited and will be making the most of the platform, Robertson said,
We’ll also be creating new dishes and some one off specials just for UberEATS designed specifically for home delivery.”
The service will operate between 11am to 10.00pm, seven days a week and will start with a focus on inner suburbs – from Bondi to Surry Hills, Pyrmont to Newtown, and everywhere in between. Get your stomaches ready!

- Tell us where to deliver – add your home, work, or any other address you’d like.
- Browse local restaurants – search for your favourite local restaurant or try something new.
- Check out with a tap – pay with your card on file. And remember, delivery is free for a limited time.
- Track your order – watch as your order gets picked up and delivered to you.
