Dua Lipa: singer-songwriter, inventor of break-up rules, and now, soccer player in the world of FIFA.

Yes, in news you didn’t think you’d be reading today, you can now play as Dua Lipa in FIFA 2021. The latest instalment of the FIFA franchise came out last month, but a recent update has allowed for a pool of celebrities to join in on the fun.

You can now play as F1 racer Lewis Hamilton, NBA player Joel Embiid, and musician DJ Snake in FIFA’s ‘Volta’ mode.

But, let’s be real, we won’t be selecting any character who isn’t the princess of pop, Dua Lipa, herself. Just look at her in action.

Let’s Get Physical

Her performance aside, what is truly sending me are the statistics that EA Sports have put onto her. She has a score of 100 for her fitness, which makes sense because all pop stars have to be incredibly fit, but, some of the other stats are particularly shady.

According to the game, Dua Lipa’s form is a mere “okay” and, I’m sorry, but whoever made this clearly hasn’t streamed Future Nostalgia.

Also, her “morale” sits at a level of “content”, like, what is this supposed to mean? Also, her “contract” supposedly” expires “in 12 months” so, unfortunately, I guess that means she will not be on FIFA 22. Check out the rest of her statistics here:

It’s safe to say, Twitter was absolutely living for the crossover.

If you’ve gotten yourself the new PS5 or the Xbox Series X, you’ll be able to nab this game on the 4th of December.

Dua Lipa really seems to be thriving in COVID-19 isolation, aside from her soccer-career, she’s appearing on Miley Cyrus’ upcoming album and getting ready for ‘Studio 2054’, her live-stream concert to support Future Nostalgia.

Also, while you’re here, remember the time Ross Butler covered Dua Lipa? Good times.
