Superstar musician and ginger legend, Ed Sheeran has shown solidarity towards Aboriginal Australians, donning an Aboriginal flag printed t-shirt during his performance last night in Sydney.

The thoughtful fashion choice comes only days after Sheeran donated his time to Carrie Bickmore‘s Beanie’s for Brain Cancer Music Festival ‘Brainbeats 2015‘ in Melbourne; which aimed to raise $1 million dollars in brain cancer research.
What a ginger angel.
Respect to Ed Sheeran for donning an Aboriginal flag shirt at his show last night. Small token of visibility for the community.

As expected, there were the general naysayers that highlighted the lack of involvement and interest Sheeran has shown towards Indigenous Australians affairs, but even a small token of visibility and acknowledgement can have an immense impact.
Some may say wtf has Ed Sheeran done for Aboriginal people?
He put on a shirt = World wide attention.

It was an unforgettable performance from Sheeran, who wasn’t to be outdone by his favourite gal-pal, Taylor Swift. He pulled a ‘swifty‘ of his own and brought out a special guest – little known British artist Sir Elton John…what a great opportunity for the up-and-comer.
