There Is An Entire Reddit Thread Dedicated To Things Looking Like Penises And Lord Help Us
One of the trademarks of our patriarchal, male-obsessed society is people’s enthusiasm for phallic imagery, by which we mean, people find dicks…everywhere.
From early childhood, even before we earn our pen licenses, kids are drawing graffiti penises on anything they can get their hands on. Kids are asking other kids if they want to join the ‘Pen 15’ club, and declaring “That’s a penis!” about anything with the remote phallic resemblance. Then we grow up and nothing changes.
So of course, in the dark corners of Reddit exists an entire thread aptly titled ‘Mildly Penis’. It’s dedicated to anything and everything that could be interpreted as dick-like and tbh I might be losing hope for humanity.
