WA’s Beloved Factory Summer Festival Is Finally Hitting The East Coast In 2020
Your new home this summer.
For three whole years, we’ve watched jealously from the east coast of Oz as Factory Summer Festival has raged over in Perth. Now, Brisbane and Melbourne are getting a look-in: Factory is launching festivals in both cities this summer.
Brisbane folks, the lucky ducks, are blessed first this year, with Factory Summer Festival taking over Brisbane Showgrounds from December 11 to 31, featuring acts like Hermitude, The Presets, Peking Duck, Vera Blue and Illy. If you haven’t already, make sure you book quickly as some shows have already sold out!
Running from March 19 to April 5, the Melbourne event will be hosted in Federation Square with line-up additions TBC. The classic Perth event, running over the same dates, will take over the Ice Cream Factory where it all began. You can check out the full line-up here.
Factory Summer Festival on the east coast naturally promises an experiential live music event with themed bars carnival rides, arcade games, and plenty more surprises.
Of course, 2020 has mocked even the best-laid plans, but you better believe Factory is prepared. Health and safety is a critical priority, and every event is sticking to all government health and safety directives. If any event has to be cancelled, they’ll reschedule, with immediate refunds available to those who can’t make the new date.
