As a self-described Christmas movie aficionado, I know a good holiday film when I see one and Lindsay Lohan’s Falling For Christmas looks phenomenal.

The upcoming Netflix movie will star Lohan opposite Glee’s Chord Overstreet, with the film revolving around a newly engaged, entitled heiress who is diagnosed with amnesia after suffering a skiing accident. She is rescued by a blue-collar lodge owner (Overstreet) and his daughter, and of course, sparks fly between the odd couple.

Along with Lohan and Overstreet, the Netflix film will star Jack Wagner, George Young, Blythe Howard, Chase Ramsey, and Olivia Perez.

Watch the Falling for Christmas trailer and we’ll discuss below:

OK, I am absolutely obsessed with this movie. It’s giving The Knight Before Christmas meets Christmas Inheritance aka it’s already in an amazing Xmas movie pedigree.

Lindsay, as a heiress, is giving major Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen energy — that all-pink wintercore assemble is everything! I’m also cackling at the scene where she tips down a mountain and her fiancé grabs her diamond ring instead of her hand. This movie looks ridiculously camp and I’m all in.

But tbh, the only thing I could pay attention to in the trailer was the soundtrack: is that Lindsay singing ‘Jingle Bell Rock’ aka recreating the classic Mean Girls performance? I can confirm that indeed it is. The ‘Rumours’ singer is about to make her triumphant return to acting and singing — and we couldn’t be happier.

Lohan’s version of ‘Jingle Bell Rock’  is available to buy on November 4.

Lindsay’s last major acting gig was in 2018 with British black comedy Sick Note, while she hasn’t released any charting music since the mid-00s.

Falling for Christmas premieres November 10 on Netflix.
