If you’ve been hooked on this season of Farmer Wants a Wife, you’ll know by now that one of the farmers pulled the plug on the show early because he fell in love!

Now, of course the whole show is based on finding love, but it’s rare on all our favourite dating shows for any suitor to pull the plug early and just simply end their journey. Normally, they drag us all along until the end, even if they know who’s captured their heart early on.

While it wasn’t a well-kept secret that Farmer Andrew was going to pick Claire, watching the moment play out on our screens warmed even the iciest of hearts (mine). A man who knows what he wants?! A man who doesn’t drag the other women along until the bitter end? We love to see it!

According to So Dramatic! Farmer Andrew knew straight away that he liked Claire and wanted to be with her, but he was also allegedly butting heads with producers and that could’ve impacted how fast he made his decision.

An insider told So Dramatic! that production weren’t thrilled with Farmer Andrew’s decision to leave early, and told him he has to “play along until the end”.

“They were trying to get him to fabricate feelings with the other girls but he didn’t want to. In the end, the pressure got too much for him,” the insider claimed.

Watch the adorably awkward and sweet moment when Farmer Andrew told Claire he had sent the other women home.

“Claire I’m falling in love with you and I don’t expect you to (reply),” he said to a stoked Claire, who also said she was falling in love too.

“So what happens now?” Claire asked. “Now we just hang out?”

Relatable queen, Claire is all of us who finally make it past a first date.

So are Farmer Andrew and Claire still together?

The burning question on everyone’s lips! What has happened since the show has wrapped filming?

The social media account from the show and Farmer Andrew haven’t given much away yet, but New Idea has reported the two are currently together.

We’ll keep an eager eye out for any further updates, but until then we can sigh with relief that sometimes these shows really do work.
