Annabelle From ‘Farmer Wants a Wife’ Has Piped Up After Being Dumped

Annabelle Greenaway wore her heart on her sleeve during this year’s season of Farmer Wants a Wife, and it was obvious that she developed strong feelings for Farmer Matt. 

During her time on the show, Annabelle became jealous of Farmer Matt’s close connection with Olivia Benic, and things heated up when she found out her rival was spending extra “alone time” with him. 

It turned out that Annabelle was right to be worried about the pair’s connection, because Farmer Matt chose Olivia in the finale. And while Annabelle looked heartbroken when he told her he’d “fallen for someone else”, she has now revealed that she walked away content. 

Alongside an Instagram carousel of snaps from the show, she listed all the positives she was left with once filming wrapped. “It was so amazing to be a part of Season 13 Farmer Wants a Wife and I honestly had the time of my life. Thank you to Matt and his family for letting us stay on their incredible farm,” she said. 

“Whilst I didn’t find the love that I went on the show to find… I found the love that I needed. I found self love and appreciation, and I had the pleasure of making the most beautiful life long friends.

“Congratulations to Olivia and Matt. I wish you both all the best and a life time [sic] of happiness,” she finished.

Her spiel sounds similar to a rom-com trope where the heroine learns that all she needed was to love herself. Is it a bit cheesy? Yes. But do we still eat it up? Also yes. 

Farmer Wants a Wife contestants show their support for Annabelle Greenway

Fellow Farmer Wants a Wife contestants were quick to comment on her post, with Alice Paterson saying: “You are the best. So grateful for your friendship.”

“SO proud of you. You carried yourself with pride and stayed true to yourself the entire time. So grateful I now get to call you a friend,” Madison Gielen wrote.

“So grateful to have you in my life and can’t wait to create more memories,” Chelsea Boothman commented. 

We’re impressed by how cordial Annabelle can be with her ex tbh, because that breakup looked like it hurt.
