There’s A Rumour One Of The Farmers From ‘Farmer Wants A Wife’ Doesn’t Really Own A Farm
Farmer Wants A Wife premiered earlier this week and already this season has promised to deliver the love and drama, with five farmers looking to settle down and find the one.
The farmers and their chosen wives have all settled into the country at this point in the show, cohabitating while the farmers teach the women the lay of the land. Already there’s been drama over some cheeky kisses (and hickeys) and Farmer Sam — the youngest farmer on the show — is now also the centre of a bigger scandal.
It’s been widely reported in the media now that Farmer Sam may not actually, well, be a farmer.
People on social media have been commenting up a storm about Sam, with claims he doesn’t own a farm, and that he actually lives in Sydney and works as a truckie and/or tradie.
The dedicated investigators at The Wash have done some sleuthing and uncovered that Farmer Sam’s brother owns a farm and all the footage so far of Sam on Farmer Wants A Wife appears to depict his brother’s farm. The site also states that the people of Canowindra have no idea who Sam is.
The tea! It’s piping.

The juiciest part is perhaps the comments on the thread. “I was at Henty Field Days a few years ago and me and a mate were approached by a lady asking us to be on Farmer Wants a Shag. We told her we are not farmers, her reply was, ‘we can get around that’,” one Facebooker commented.
