So apparently, a bunch of farmers are pretty keen to get hitched?
I am of course referring to Channel 7’s beloved reality show, Farmer Wants a Wife. Have I ever watched it? No, no I haven’t. I prefer my reality TV to be a little more melodramatic (toxic), and I am personally triggered by men who like the outdoors due to every second guy on Hinge stating they want a woman who enjoys camping.
However, I am a sucker for a dating show, and an even bigger sucker for all the tea that is spilled
once production wraps. So with that said, let’s deep-dive into these final farming couples and suss whether they’re still together.
Farmer Wants A Wife 2024: Who does Farmer Joe end up with?
“I’d love nothing more than to be riding off into the sunset with someone, for sure,” Farmer Joe shares in previews for the show. He’s 33, from Bombala, NSW and my first impression of this man is that he seems nice and he has a cute gap between his teeth and also maybe a terrible tattoo on his ribs. ANYWHO, we found out that Joe will be riding off into the sunset with Sarah, choosing her over runner-up, Keely.

“I want to tackle the future with you by my side, and us as a team,” Joe told Sarah, before asking her to move to the farm with him. While she agrees to relocate, fans are convinced the U-Haul van may have never been booked, as sources have revealed the pair have already split.
An insider told gossip overlord So Dramatic! that things were tense during the filming of the reunion, adding, “I think they’re definitely over by now as Joe has been sliding into the DMs of some of the women from other farms on the show.”
Now that’s not very farmerly!!

Farmer Dustin describes the dating scene in the remote town of Condobolin, New South Wales as “dismal”, and considering it’s hard enough to date in Melbourne, I truly feel for this man. However, things are looking up for the 26-year-old after finding love with contestant Sophie! Good for them, bad for runner-up Anna.
“This farmer found a wife!” Dustin exclaimed, before laying a big smooch on his leading lady. Fans were certain Sophie was going to be Dustin’s final choice, and while there isn’t much tea online about the two, an insider referred to the couple as “endgame” to So Dramatic!

Farmer Wants A Wife 2024: Who does Farmer Todd end up with?
Season latecomer Farmer Todd (33) from Baan Baa, New South Wales, told Channel 7 his ideal woman is “easy going and pretty relaxed like myself, but also willing to get their hands dirty and not afraid of hard work.” While it’s clear that he and I would NEVER have worked out, thankfully he found love with contestant Daisy over runner-up Grace.
“Finding love is a big risk. I’m willing to take the risk with you, Daisy. I can finally give you the reassurance that I am definitely falling in love with you,” Todd told his farm sweetie during the finale.

So, has the risk paid off? According to sources, yes! “She’s already packed up her life and left Townsville and moved to his farm in Narrabri to live with him. They’re really happy,” an insider told, you guessed it, So Dramatic!

Farmer Tom is a literal child? (I wish they wouldn’t let people under the age of 25 go on these shows, but I guess that’s a me problem). The 22-year-old tells us he’s inspired by the relationships of both sets of grandparents, as they “got together when they were very young and stayed together til they were very old,” so maybe I’ll give him a pass for being on this show fresh out of teenagehood.
Tom, from Nagambie, Victoria (the first place I recognise), fell hard for contestant Sarah, leaving runner-up Krissy and the show in his dust and yeeting production early.

As to whether the couple are still together, things sound a little… rocky. “I don’t know if they are still together, but I do know that they have been having several issues since filming,” an insider shared with So Dramatic!

“Love a good joke, love a laugh,” Farmer Dean said in the previews for the show. TBH any man who says that is instantly unfunny to me, but to be fair, I didn’t watch the show so I shouldn’t judge.
The 25-year-old from Kandanga, Queensland, inspired by his parents’ 30-year marriage, was another contestant who decided to bail after finding love with contestant Teegan. However, it doesn’t sound like this relationship will be rivalling the longevity of his folks, given rumours have emerged he and Teegan have called it quits.
So Dramatic! reported that the pair have been on-off since Christmas and that a source revealed, “He’s been sliding into girls’ DMs from other farms right after the reunion was filmed and has been saying he isn’t with Teegan anymore.”

Farmer Wants A Wife 2024: Who does Farmer Bert end up with?
My God, there are simply so many farmers. Our final lead, 30-year-old Farmer Bert is lowkey hot, from Wamuran, Queensland and supposedly hates drama, which is a red flag for me.
“I think that I’m ready for something special,” he reveals to us, but I guess the fuck not as he apparently left the show mid-season solo, pulling an absolute Honey Badger.
Since filming, he has been reportedly linked to contestant Lauren, who also left the show due to the pressure of competing for Bert’s affection, but nothing has been confirmed.
