FCK DAT: Tom Arnold Made Serious Bank During His Stint On ‘I’m A Celeb’ Doing SFA
Tom Arnold, for those that are unfamiliar, is a D level actor that recently made a rather odd appearance on ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here’. He was given the boot first, not managing to draw much of a following. Mostly because, well, during his 17 day stint he did absolutely SFA.
He treated his Aussie campmates – the likes of Olympian Lisa Curry – as his personal assistants, making and delivery his dinner to his bed, and even doing his laundry. No joke. Generally, he was a complete knob.
Yesterday Arnold took to his Twitter account, and spilled the beans on how much he made for his blink-and-you’ll-miss-it ‘I’m a Celeb’ appearance.
In a now deleted tweet, Arnold revealed that he made between 600 and 700 thousand US dollars – which converts to over 900 thousand dollarydoos in Australia.
Channel Ten have since responded, alluding that Arnold is bragging and his earnings are an example of “inflated figures thrown around by celebrities,” but added that they were “contractually unable” to disclose the exact amount.
Under heat by the network, Arnold is now tweeting that his original paycheck was just a joke.
Was joking. I don't even what I got. and it's a violation for anyone to seriously discuss. I got $1 for every maggot I ate so could be close https://t.co/NUKw7pJJZv

Yeah what evs, Arnold. He was surely clearing something ridiculous to get him on that show, when from day one he didn’t want to be there.
Almost making a million for THAT. Don’t mind me, I’m just having a moment.
