Alfie (1966)

Directed by Lewis Gilbert and starring the ever charming Michael Caine. It was remade in the 2000s, but the swinging sixties was the perfect setting for this story about a gorgeously gaming gent.

A Man For All Seasons (1966)

Directed by Fred Zinneman and stars Paul Schofield. Based on a stage play, check out how absolutely-flipping-mental stuff was when Henry VIII wanted to get a divorce from his first wife.
