Fireman Cam Says He’d Consider Being Next Bachelor, After Surprise Boot From The Bachelorette

The biggest shock of this season’s The Bachelorette took place on last night’s ep, as our favourite fireman Cameron Cranley was ceremoniously booted from the competition, leaving the Bachy mansion… roseless.

Many had assumed Cameron would have at least made it to hometown visits, if not won the whole thing. But alas, Georgia Love sent him on his way and Australia is not coping well, tbh.

But there might be a silver lining. What if Fireman Cam was the next Bachelor? In today’s interview with Woman’s Day, Cameron was asked if he’d be up for it, and his response was v. encouraging.

“I’d definitely consider it! I’m not sure if I’d be any good at it. I’d have to be a lot more comfortable in front of the camera and I’m not sure if I could send people home!

I’d try but it would be hard. I’d be open to it but I think there are other guys who are on the show now that would be better at it,” he told Woman’s Day.

Ever the humble creature, Cam reckons he doesn’t have much of chance making the cut. But we beg to differ. A bachy that’s a babein fireman, is sweet, kind, can sing and has a strange affinity for Disney movies? Yes please!

In the interview, Cameron also said despite the viewers utter shock, he wasn’t surprised he was sent on his way.

“I had this gut feeling that maybe I was going because I hadn’t had a date for a while. The other guys probably disagreed a bit,” he said.

He added that he noticed Georgia was spending most of her time with Courtney and Matty J – so maybe that’s a clue as to her final two.

“She did spent a lot of time with him[Courtney]. He did get the First Impression rose so he did get to pick the date and that group date, he did spend more time with her than we did. Matty J, too! Matty J has had lots of dates.

“But you can’t put it down to time, it’s a connection thing. I had enough time with Georgia so she could make an educated decision and I’m not bitter about that,” he said.
