It is currently unknown whether Felton’s character will be an ally to Allen or another one of his enemies.

The majority of fans online seem to be happy with Felton’s addition to the show:

The Flash himself, Grant Gustin also tweeted his supported for Felton earlier this morning, congratulating the show’s casting director and producers.

Felton’s addition to the cast comes just over a week after Grant Gustin revealed the title of episode 1, which confirmed that the series would go through a restructuring of time. The Flashpoint storyline was an event that occurred in the DC Comics and could change everything in The Flash’s universe.

Apart from portraying the famous Draco Malfoy in all eight of the Harry Potter films, Felton’s previous roles include the television shows Labyrinth and Murder In The First.

The Flash will return to American TV on Tuesday October 4th and is likely to air on Aussie TV screens soon after.
