LMAO: A Starbucks Coffee Cup Somehow Made It Into Last Night’s ‘Game Of Thrones’
Game of Thrones takes place in one of the most elaborate fantasy settings ever committed to screen. Author George R. R. Martin and series creators David Benioff and D. B. Weiss have crafted an incredible, intricate world full of fascinating characters, rich histories and spectacular locales.
And also, apparently, a Starbucks.
You're telling me they had TWO YEARS to put together a decent show and they couldn't even spot the goddamn Starbucks cup in Winterfell??!?! #GameOfThrones pic.twitter.com/8opg7nyydv

You mightn’t have seen it on first watch, but eagle-eyed viewers noticed it right away: a takeaway coffee cup sitting right smack bang in the middle of the table in front of Daenerys during the victory feast in the great hall at Winterfell. I guess she needed a little pick-me-up after losing half her army, hey.
HBO has since acknowledged the error, releasing a tongue-in-cheek statement that claimed “the latte that appeared in the episode was a mistake. Daenerys had ordered an herbal tea”.
Fans, meanwhile, have had a field day.
For those of you who didn’t think the Starbucks cup gaffe was real, I went back to watch it and—#GameOfThrones pic.twitter.com/xNz2iBHySH

People should wait till the series finale of Game of Thrones before they jump to the conclusion that the Starbucks cup doesn’t belong.

Everyone is hating on the editor who didn’t catch the Starbucks cup in Game of Thrones but once again I would like to reiterate that it is a bold anti-capitalism stance to suck at your job.

As for Starbucks, they just seemed happy about the free product placement.
TBH we’re surprised she didn’t order a Dragon Drink.
