Georgia Love Lookalike Laura Wins Matty J’s Heart & Duh, We All Saw This Coming

Australia is shook after tonight’s finale of The Bachelor, when we thought our bachy was about to propose to winner Laura. Instead he pulled out a ring for her “right hand”, a silly promise ring. Damn!

We all kind of knew Laura was gonna win this thing. When comparing Elise and Laura meeting the fam, it was pretty clear that the jewellery designer from Sydney was much more invested in their relationship. Add to this their dates on tonight’s ep were much more intimate and they even got to play with a cutie lil elephant.

We can’t say we are remotely surprised Laura won.

It also doesn’t help that pics of the couple have been leaked across every corner of the Australian gossip mags. Not cool guys. We for one, didn’t want to spoil the magic but either way it was clear to see it was Laura from the beginning.

It all started with their meeting at the first cocktail party, as Matty complimented Laura’s bling and sorta proposed to her accidentally – damn it, Matty, stahp! From there, they went on their first date on a boat (Matty has a boat fetish, check the receipts). But more importantly, it was on this date that we first spotted Surf Dog Bachelor. It was all meant to be, my friends.

Once on dry land, Matty drew a horrendous portrait of Laura, it was some disturbing shit. But somehow she didn’t dump his ass there and then. He got better though a.k.a hired an artist to draw his dream woman Georgia Love.

Similarities between Laura and ex Georgia have been drawn from the very beginning. You can’t deny it. However, Matty defs has a type. Laura didn’t dump Matty on national TV (yet) so yay! Winning.

As the series continued, Matty always seemed to spend extra time with Laura, along with Tara (grrr, #PutOutYourSnags) so it’s no surprise that the Sydneysider was the final girl.

They do make a hella cute pairing. All the best to the newly debuted bachy couple.
