GET WOKE: ‘Dear White People’ S2 Is Coming And Here’s What We Want To See

Thank you Netflix. Dear White People is coming back for another binge sesh in 2018 (which is vague af but we will take it for now and just pray to the Netflix gods that they mean early in the year – like January plz?).

Since the show officially has the green light for a second season (#keen), we can all get revved up about the rumours surrounding what we can expet. Hopefully the writers will listen up and give the people what they want.

The people have spoken and they want Joelle to have her day in the sun. According to show creator Justin Simien there will be more Joelle in the new episodes.

Colandrea ‘Coco’ Conners is arguably the most interesting character on the show (lol jks no argument this is fact.) Bring us more of Coco strategising her political career while getting head, and playing smart to win in a white person’s world. Coco gets it and we want to be slayed with more of her truth bombs.

Where to for Lionel???

After Lionel’s surprise smooch at the end of season 1 we’re thirsty for more action and character insight into the show’s underdog.
