A Ghost Appeared On Snapchat and The Internet Is Freaking Out RN

A ‘ghost’ appeared on Snapchat and is freaking out the internet right now. While it’s most likely an absolutely bonkers coincidence, we can’t help wanting to believe ghosts just love hanging out as puppies on Snapchat.

Florida twitter user @espinoziee – real name Erin – was chilling out in her room playing around with Snapchat filters earlier this week (as you do). However, she noticed something strange happening.

As you most definitely know by now, an update to the infamous puppy filter allows a second face to join the selfie taker if you happen to be snapping away with a friend. The main user becomes the brown dog, while (if it can detect it – sometimes it’s a struggle) a second face (the less dominant one) becomes the new black and white spotted Dalmatian puppy.

But when Erin went to take a selfie of herself – she was the Dalmatian.

Somehow, it appeared that the app had detected someone else as the main user standing next to her.

The app most likely picked up a strange pattern amongst the posters and decoration hanging up on the wall behind her. Something flookish about this random assortment of objects may have tricked the complex algorithm to believe it was a face. At least that was Erin’s first guess…

BUT MAYBE NOT… (dun-dun-duuunnnn)...

Laughing about with the freakish ghost like pattern – Erin films herself saying:

“Ghost, open your mouth”

And right on cue – as if the ghost is standing right there with her… the ghost puppy sticks its tongue out.

Within seconds, Erin’s face goes bright red – you’d almost say she looks like she’s seen a ghost. It might be a random coincidence, but it makes for a freaky and kinda’ adorable video.
