FCKN HELL: Ghostbusters Star Leslie Jones Is Live-Tweeting Abuse Received From Racist Trolls
Ghostbusters only came out a week ago, but it didn’t take long for the scummy depths of human existence to peep their heads up from their mum’s basement and hail disgusting abuse at the film’s star Leslie Jones.
Jones stars as Patty in the new film, and is honestly one of the best things about it.
But today she has been exposing some of the racist abuse she has received since the film premiered, from likening her appearance to an ape to labeling her with racial slurs. It’s absolutely disgusting.

There’s so many revolting tweets that Jones has been re-posting, it’s impossible to include them all.
Along with putting these bigots on blast, Jones went on to say how saddened she feels about the state of the online community, after being thrown so much hateful vitriol.
I don't know how to feel. I'm numb. Actually numb. I see the words and pics and videos. Videos y'all. Meaning people took time to sprew hate

It's like when you think "ok I've proven I'm worthy" then you get hit with a shovel of hated. I'm numb. I mean I know there is racism.
— Leslie Jones (@Lesdoggg) July 19, 2016
I'm so tired of it. Why is this still a fight? I want to hate so bad but I can't because I know it doesn't fix anything and just make me sad

Supporters of Jones have been rallying around the actress, while calling on Twitter to regulate the behaviour of their users, protect people from bullying and censor racism on their platform – which it repeatedly fails to do.
