Summer is nearly here and local artists are coming out of hibernation to release new music for fans before hitting the road to celebrate.

With a huge run of November dates being booked up in major cities and regional hubs, there’s plenty to rock out to across our great land. Grab ya mates, throw an esky in the back of the car and start planning those summer weekend getaways.

The Rubens:

After a huge wait (nearly 3 years), The Rubens are back with new music that comes to us in the form of their latest single Hoops. To celebrate the new release, the band are embarking on a massive nationwide tour. With a run of dates kicking off in mid September, the boys won’t wrap it up until mid November. Drunk Mums – Gone Troppo Tour

Self-proclaimed “slop’n’rollers” Drunk Mums are hitting up a national tour starting this September, in celebration of their upcoming sophomore effort, Gone Troppo. With the album due to be released on the fourth of the month, the five-piece have given fans something to pine over until the tour and album in the form of their first single, Pub On My Own.

Ash Grunwald Now National Album Tour

After returning from a massive tour of Canada including shows at the Winnipeg and Vancouver Folk Festivals, Ash Grunwald returns to Australia to celebrate the release of his new album ‘NOW’. Channeling the success of these experience, the NOW tour will keep Ash busy until the end of the year after kicking off in Perth and winding around to Adelaide in November before he heads off overseas again.

Chet Faker – Built on Live Tour

Chet Faker is set to embark on an East Coast tour this October and November, playing his biggest venues to date. Taking place in iconic and much-loved venues, Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl and Brisbane’s Riverstage, the Built on Live Tour will have Chet performing an all-new show, featuring an expanded band with guests, never before performed live songs, and more than a few surprises along the way.

Conrad Sewell

2015 could not get better for 27 year Brisbane local, Conrad Sewell. After bursting onto the scene in 2014 with an incredible vocal feature on Norwegian hit-maker Kygo’s international smash hit ‘Firestone’, Conrad had heads turning with his distinct and soulful voice. Following the 2015 release of solo tracks ‘Hold Me Up’ and ARIA Chart smash hit ‘Start Again’, Conrad’s first Australian #1, well and truly established him as an artist on the rise.

The Paper Kites

Melbourne five-piece The Paper Kites have had a whirlwind six months since the release of their debut album States. After a national tour, a North American tour supporting City and Colour, plus their own sold-out headlining tour of US/CAN, the band will be back on the road again this May, visiting heaps of venues across Australia.

Loon Lake

Melbourne based indie-rocksters, Loon Lake, are calling it a day with a final hurrah tour. Although they’ve spent the most of 2015 writing, recording and producing, they felt it’s time to leave the stage with the strongest collection of tracks they’ve had in years.

Matt Corby

Matt and the band will be heading to intimate venues around Australia to debut songs from his upcoming release – including new single ‘Monday’. Monday is the first song Matt recorded after bunkering down in a cottage in Berry (country NSW) to record his highly anticipated debut album. Monday follows on from his previous releases Brother (6 x platinum, ARIA Song Of The Year) and Resolution (4 x platinum, ARIA Song Of The Year).
