IT’S HAPPENING. IT’S ON. GILMORE GIRLS IS COMING BACK. Well… not quite.

Following last year’s Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life revival and THAT ENDING, we were left with more questions than answers. A year since the season hit Netflix, the show’s creator Amy Sherman-Palladino has flirted with the possibility of continuing the series.

Hell yeah!

While Sherman-Palladino is currently working on Amazon series The Marvelous Mrs Maisel with hubby Daniel Palladino, she told RadioTimes that she signed a contract so she would have the freedom to revisit Stars Hollow in the future. Sherman-Palladino said.

“We carved out a little niche for ourselves with Amazon saying that if we ever want to do it, if the girls and us get together and we have a concept that works, then we have the freedom to do it.”

She went on to explain,

“It would just have to be the right circumstances, and that we’re all sort of in the same drunken mood together to go repaint Stars Hollow again,”

“Because we had to repaint Stars Hollow, and we’ll have to repaint it again. But it’s definitely possible.”

The creator has previously said that the door isn’t completely closed on the series. However, GG stars Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel have both expressed hesitation in reprising their roles as Lorelai and Rory Gilmore.

It might just be an issue of finding the right time. When that’ll be is anyone’s guess…
