Your Girl Amber Rose Is Getting Her Own Talk Show

Amber Rose is known for her outspoken feminist attitude and her no-fucks-given approach to MRA’s, slut-shaming and victim-blaming. But she can now add ‘talk show host’ to her résumé, landing her own weekly talk show on VH1. Fuck yaaas!

As reported in The Hollywood Reporter, the program will be produced by Dr. Phil and his son Jay McGraw’s Stage 29 Productions and premiere in the American summer.

The weekly series that is currently untitled will feature Rose conducting interviews with celebrity friends.

“Amber has inspired millions of young women by overcoming homelessness to become a wildly successful entrepreneur,” said VH1 GM Chris McCarthy to The Hollywood Reporter. “A true multihyphenate, she is a devoted mother, a strong advocate for women’s rights and a celebrated author all of which make her an ideal host.

Amber is a perfect addition to the VH1 family because our audience is interested in hearing unique perspectives from those who are unapologetically themselves and not afraid to take a stand on issues they are passionate about.”

Rose has been going from strength to strength in the last few years, appearing in several TV segments, including being a favourite on Inside Amy Schumer, and hosting the ‘SlutWalk’.

The show has been billed as provocative, with guests discussing topics including pop culture, motherhood, relationships, friendships, race and entrepreneurship.

“I am very excited to be joining forces with such an amazing network to deliver a fresh perspective on the primetime talk show. Join us as we break all the rules and redefine late-night. Watch out Fallon, here comes Muva!” said Rose.
