Harry Styles performed a cover of Ariana Grande’s ‘Just A Little Bit Of Your Heart’ at his Manchester show this week to honour the victims of last year’s bombing and it’s emotional to watch.

It’s been almost a year since the attack on Ariana Grande’s concert at the Manchester Arena that left 22 dead and many more injured and terrified. When Harry Styles performed at the arena on April 9 for his world tour, he paid a special tribute to the victims, survivors and Ariana Grande. Styles addressed the audience saying:

“I grew up coming to my first concerts in this room, I love this room,”

“The next song that we’re going to play, I wrote a few years ago, and I gave it to a singer called Ariana Grande. She sang it a few times, and now we’re going to do our version of it for you — and if you can find some way to join in please do so. I stand with you, Manchester.”

The song is ‘Just a Little Bit of My Heart’, a track that Styles co-wrote with Ariana Grande for her 2014 album My Everything and has been performing on his tour. The cover definitely has extra resonance on this occasion and with his tribute, it’s a beautifully earnest way to honour Manchester.
