Harry Styles Ended Homophobes With Four Words And We Have To Stan

Tell us you love Punkee without telling us you love Punkee. Sign up to our newsletter, and follow us on Instagram and Twitter. It'll mean the world.

It’s official: no man will ever compare to Harry Styles.

Harry Styles has been on quite a roll for the past few months. From raking in numerous Grammy nominations and dropping into a fan’s house, it seems that we can’t stop talking about the ex-One Direction star.

And just when you thought you couldn’t love Harry Styles anymore, he’s delighted us all with an epic clap back aimed at conservatives. We honestly have no choice but to stan.

It All Started With Vogue

In case you missed it, Harry Styles graced the cover of Vogue last month rocking a stunning Gucci jacket and dress, making him the first solo man to front the cover.

Now, while the majority of us saved all the images, made it our wallpaper, and made our own print-out posters from this photoshoot (because it was incredible), conservatives in America were not having any of it. One of these conservatives was author and commentator Candace Owens.

When the Vogue shoot was going viral, Candace tweeted: “There is no society that can survive without strong men. The East knows this. In the west, the steady feminization of our men at the same time that Marxism is being taught to our children is not a coincidence. It is an outright attack. Bring back manly men.”

I mean, I don’t see what her point is, but pop off.

Safe to say, people on Twitter weren’t happy with Candace’s thoughts.

Harry Styles Hits Back

Well, today, it would seem that Harry Styles has clapped back at the conservatives with a simple Instagram post. As the ‘Watermelon Sugar’ singer posted a photo from his Variety ‘Hitmakers’ shoot, he captioned it, “Bring back manly men.”

Never has someone eating a banana been so iconic.

Furthermore, Harry Styles seemed to expand on his response to critics in his interview with Variety, saying, “To not wear (something) because it’s females’ clothing, you shut out a whole world of great clothes. And I think what’s exciting about right now is you can wear what you like. It doesn’t have to be X or Y. Those lines are becoming more and more blurred.”
