Harry Styles Could Legit Be In The Running To Be The Next James Bond
Who would have thunk it that an ex boy band member could be considered for the role of James Bond? Well, here we are. I guess it’s… a sign of the times (hehe).
Following pop singer Harry Styles’ widely praised appearance in last year’s Dunkirk, the Spectre‘s film editor Lee Smith said that the former One Direction star could be considered for the role of 007.
While Daniel Craig is locked in to play Bond in the next film, expected to be released in 2019, the franchise is looking for a newbie replacement going forward.
Speaking to the Daily Star, Smith said:
“Harry could do it. If they wanted a younger Bond then why not? He has got it,” he said.
“He is an exceptional talent and a complete natural on camera.”
The next Bond film is being tipped to be directed by Dunkirk’s Christopher Nolan, who is a good friend of Smith’s.
“Of course my daughter explained to me that you don’t get any more famous than Harry Styles. But he was really good and a genuinely charismatic fellow.
“If he wants to act, I cannot imagine he would not have a great future.”
You betchya the stans are froffing on the idea. Styles fans are keen AF for the pop singer to take on Bond.
