On Sunday, Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull posted a heartwarming video on his Facebook page. The short minute and a half clip, now boasting over 600,000 views is about Turnbull’s relationship with his father, the abandonment of his mother, and how he felt he never missed out on anything growing up because he was loved.

Whilst the video tugs at your heartstrings, it is nothing more than absolute trife put together by one of Australia’s most out of touch human beings.

Team Malc, are trying to create a fake image of the PM.
“Malcolm Turnbull: Aussie Battler.

He was head prefect at the elite Sydney Grammar School, he graduated from the University of Sydney with a prestigious Arts/Laws degree, and was a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford University.

This everyday run-of-the-mill Aussie battler is nothing more than a delirious politician who thinks that calling himself a man of the people will make him so. Regardless of his $133 million net worth and his former stint as partner of Goldman Sachs.

Australians are smarter than he would like to give us credit for. In fact, hundreds of Aussies have taken to social media with the hashtag #MalcolmWasSoPoor just to highlight how out of touch the Point Piper resident is and it is Hil-ar-ious Wednesday reading.

Don’t take our word for it though. We’ve curated some our faves below. Just hit ‘next’ to scroll between the best the net has thrown up so far.
