HELL YAAS: Lena Dunham Will Join Cast of ‘American Horror Story’ In Season 7
While we still don’t know the name is the upcoming season of American Horror Story, the series creator just dropped the news that Lena Dunham will join the cast. Well, we didn’t see that one coming.
Creator Ryan Murphy announced in a tweet earlier today that he is, “Thrilled that my talented friend Lena Dunham is joining the AMERICAN HORROR STORY family,” he wrote.

We don’t know anything yet about Dunham’s role, but what we do know is the season will be inspired by the 2016 presidential election. With Dunham firmly on ‘Team Hillary’ during the campaign, this could maybe play into her position in the cult series.
The Girls star is not the first random celeb to make a AHS cameo, with Lady Gaga appearing in both Hotel and Roanoke seasons.
Just yesterday, a teaser leaked for season seven which contained red and white balloons along with a creepy clown-masked figure that’ll haunt your nightmares forever.
