The bad news we were all dreading just dropped: The Originals is officially over after season five comes out. But the good news is that we may see Klaus and Caroline finally reunite. Yay!

After Vampire Diaries finished up earlier this year, people are not taking the cancellation of the spinoff well at all. The fifth season is set to come out next year but fans have been blindsided when showrunner Julie Plec announced on Twitter that it will also be the final season of the CW fave.

The news has hit hard. Fans are not on board with this ‘cancel all the vampire shows’ situation and everyone’s stumbling through the various stages of grief.

At least there is some good news to keep us all sane. A scoop reported by TV Line just earlier this week has confirmed that Candace King, aka Caroline Forbes of The Vampire Diaries (and Klaus’s rightful soulmate), is set to appear in the season five premiere of The Originals.

HELL YEAAAAAAAH.

Every fan knows that Klaus and Caroline (#Klaroline) are destined to be together and if you don’t think so then you are simply wrong. News that the two will be reviving their undeniable chemistry in the final season of The Originals has everyone hoping that our favourite ship are finally going to make it work.

They’ve had a rocky relationship so far, but let’s not forget that in The Vampire Diaries finale Klaus gifted a hefty donation to the school for supernaturals that Caroline was starting up. Because Caroline is forever the love of his eternal vampy life. Apparently they’ll be brought together on The Originals when Klaus’s daughter Hope is attending the school. BRING IT ON.

Is Caroline going to stick around past the first episode? Are we actually going to get the Klaroline happily ever after we’ve been all been yearning for?

GIVE THE PEOPLE WHAT THEY WANT. It is very clear what fans want to see.

Joseph Morgan, the (gorgeous) actor who plays Klaus posted on Twitter in the wake of the cancellation news, sending love to the fans and to say thank you for the “undying support”. We love you Joseph… please don’t leave us.

You never know though if this is the final goodbye to our fave Vampire world as showrunner Julie Plec has also told TV Line:

“I think there are future shows down the line that can be spawned out of this world and could tell good stories.”

Yes please!!! We vote a spinoff of Klaus and Caroline all loved up and living a happy life ,with zero complications and absolutely no tragedies. Plz think about it.
