Lizzie From ‘MAFS’ Has Cleared Up Why Bronson Already Had “Leave” Written On His Card

Last night’s dramatic episode of Married At First Sight saw Ines and Sam’s affair exposed, and we said goodbye to both of them as their respective partners, Bronson and Lizzie.

Lizzie developed quite a fan following on the show for her honesty, wild-eyed expressions and her love of toasting pizza. While saying goodbye to her was tough, we all know she’s better off without a Sam in her life.

Lizzie chatted to Kylie and Jackie O about her time on Married At First Sight and revealed some new info along the way.

1. She said off camera, she and Sam did actually hang out a lot together

“He’d come home from the gym and he’d say ‘I’m really tired, but I want to stay up with you,’ we’d go to bed at the same time, wake up at the same time, cooking together… and then [the cameras would roll] and there’d be this whole different change.”

2. Lizzie said Sam spooned her on the wedding night and that’s why she was confused about his feelings towards her

Kyle, of course, asked if he got “hard” which Lizzie confirmed. (I can’t believe I even had to write that, but there you go fam.)

Lizzie then said on the Gold Coast when they had the “he said/she said” argument, that Sam said “it wasn’t on camera Elizabeth,” meaning for him if it wasn’t caught on camera then it didn’t happen.

3. Lizzie wasn’t impressed with Sam throwing Ines under the bus

“The fact that he turns around when Ines said she wants to be with him and he’s going ‘that’s too strong, that’s not what I’m here for,’ it’s MARRIED AT FIRST SIGHT! So it’s kind of like, you just wanted to hurt people, was that your intention?”

4. She said Ines sent her an apology message, except she didn’t reply

“She was very apologetic and she was genuinely upset… she’s done some awful things to me but I think she’s quite remorseful now.”

5. And speaking of messages, Ines had told Bronson to write “leave” on his card

Lizzie cleared up everyone’s confusion as to why Bronson had “leave” on his card when on-camera he thought things were getting better with Ines. “She sent him a message, she didn’t explain why,” she said.
