Here’s The Hard, Undeniable Evidence That Lorde’s Been Living A Double IG Life As An Onion Ring Reviewer
The scoop of 2017 has arrived: Lorde is living a second life on Instagram reviewing onion rings across the world.
Let that sink in. The Grammy-award winning singer is a renegade onion ring rater on the fly and it’s been under our noses the entire time.
New Zealand news site Newshub launched the investigation into the now deleted page ‘Onion Rings Worldwide’. Their persuading findings were that the page belongs to Lorde and we’re 100 percent on board.
Don’t believe us? Let us live this fantasy.
Here’s the collection of hard evidence connecting Lorde to ‘Onion Rings Worldwide’:
Lorde follows the account, as do her friends Justin Warren, Jimmy Mac and Maddy Budd. Considering the page only had 24 followers, this is significant.
The language used in the descriptions is unequivocally Lorde-esqe, the spelling is also consistent with New Zealand’s conventions.
The second post was an onion ring eaten onboard a flight from Tennessee to New York, just as Lorde was flying back from Bonaroo Music Festival in Tennesee back to her home in NYC.

A review was posted in early May at the QT Hotel in Sydney, at the same time Lorde was in the city and it was only a short drive from the hotel to the venue she was playing.
The fingers that can be seen in some of the pics holding onion rings are very similar to Lorde’s trademark short-nailed digits.
Instantly, just as the speculation over Lorde’s involvement in the page was heating up yesterday and NewsHub contacted Lorde’s publicist, BOOM… the page was deleted.
THAT CAN’T BE A COINCIDENCE!
Our gal Lorde obviously panicked, losing her onion ring rating anonymity.
NOOO! COME BACK ONION RING LORDE. We need those sweet reviews.
