The Bachelor 2018 is slowly (so slowly) coming to an end and later this week we’ll see the Honey Badger choose his top three ladies after hometown visits.

With the finale looming, many signs are pointing towards the fact that our Badgey Boi may not have found his one true love.

Personally, I’m just shook that the Honey Badger maybe didn’t find love after a bunch of dates centred around weird, made-up sporting competitions. Who woulda thought?!

Here are the tell-tale signs that we may see a Bachy breakup straight after the finale.

1. The Badge is not going to be in Australia for the finale

The usual protocol for the Bachelor/Bachelorette after the finale airs is to do a whole lot of media appearances and give interviews about how in love they are. However, Badgey Boi isn’t even going to be in the country.

2. Britt’s sister uploaded an interesting Instagram story

Britt is the rumoured winner and it was reported that in the background of the story someone said “maybe he [Nick] is ready to settle down,” to which the reply was “maybe not.” The story was quickly taken down.

3. Fan pages are rife with stories of Nick getting cosy with people that weren’t on the show

While nothing can be proved, stories have circulated and one blurry photo had a lot of people talking – but also, who knows if the woman in question was a friend, a cousin, a fan, his Uber driver, etc.

4. Kyle Sandilands (I know, I know) claimed Nick told him he didn’t pick anyone at the end

“Currently now, he’s with someone that he’s loved from the beginning,” Kyle said.

5. Nick’s answers in interviews haven’t given much away and have also used past tense

In another interview with Kyle & Jackie O, Nick had this to say: “What I can say is um, is not a lot, but I’m bloody happy alright. I’m very happy, so take what you will. I was very lucky in this season.” Previous Bachelor/Bachelorettes have kept tight-lipped but also pointed out they have fallen in love/found someone special.

6. And this interview with Men’s Health was very telling

When told about an office tipping comp,  Nick said: “Mate, I wouldn’t put my money on 99 per cent of those girls” and also said if he had to put one woman in his dream journal, “I’d create her myself. It wouldn’t be one of the ones on the show that’s for sure!”

Yikes.

The Bachelor Australia premiered in 2013 and out of the six seasons of the show only three of the original couples have remained together: Tim and Anna (2013), Sam and Snezana (2015) and Matty J and Laura (2017). Out of the three seasons of The Bachelorette Australia, only one original couple have stayed together: Georgia and Lee.
