I Am Cait Finale: A Look Back At Our Favourite Moments
Caitlyn Jenner’s highly anticipated docuseries follows the journey of former Keeping Up With The Kardashians patriarch Bruce Jenner as he transitions into a transgender woman. This year, we’ve laughed, cried and celebrated with Caitlyn with each weekly instalment of the show.

With the season finale airing tonight, we thought we’d look back and appreciate some the best moments from one of the most highly anticipated shows of 2015.

Kanye loves Caitlyn!
By far one of the best moments from this season was when Kanye visited Caitlyn with Kim at her Malibu home. Kanye commended Caitlyn for remaining true to herself despite the obvious pressure of the media spotlight. Whilst the hug they shared looked pretty awkward, we applaud Kanye for his words to Cait and sharing his insights.
2. Bitch stole my look
Yep, this was one of the more awkward moments of the season that definitely made us equally cringe and smile. As we all know, Kim Kardashian is best know for her uhh… outfits… which is why an impromptu closet clean-out with Caitlyn was one of the more mundane moments from this season. It did however result in one of the best “bitch stole my looks” we’ve ever seen – Kris Jenner has the same Tom Ford dress hanging up in Cait’s new closet. We have a feeling that this is only the first of many “who wore it better” moments that the couple will experience.
3. Surprise surprise… the Kardashians promote a brand
Its no secret that the Kardashian/Jenner’s love a good endorsement deal, and they couldn’t help but give Kylie’s Hair Couture line for Belami a cheeky shoutout. What we were lucky enough to see was one of many heartwarming daddy-daughter moments caught on camera throughout the series, with Kylie putting in some electric blue extensions in Cait’s new do. Snapping a pic for her Instagram account, Caitlyn told Kylie to caption it “just a friend modelling my new extensions”. One thing is for sure, despite all the changes that Caitlyn has undergone, she has still remained one hell of a great parent.
4. It’s a girls trip!
This season wouldn’t have been complete without the many transgender friends that Caitlyn surrounded herself with. Kicking things off with a girls trip to San Fransisco, to various lunches and dinners at Cailtyn’s Malibu pad, we were able to gain insight into the daily lives of these trans women and the struggle they undergo. Notably, trans advocate Candis Cayne’s involvement in the series gave it the comedic spark that would’ve otherwise been missing, and we couldn’t help but fall in love with her. Similarly, Professor Jenny Boylan was another trans advocate that provided audiences with insight into trans issues, often speaking to Caitlyn on how to address certain topics within the “community”.
5. Caitlyn’s new life is both worrying and at the same time so comfortable for her.
Caitlyn opened up to trans friends Candis and Chandi Moore about how much more comfortable she has been living as Caitlyn than she expected. “I’ve been comfortable by myself my entire life” she explained to them on their trip to Sonoma. “I’ve been out feeling extraordinarily comfortable being myself. And to be honest with you, it’s scary”. We definitely gained an awareness of how monumental this emotional journey was for her at this moment in the series.
6. Espy’s.
What was definitely the most heartwarming and eyeopening moment from the docuseries, was the speech that Caitlyn shared at the Espy awards in July for receiving the Arthur Ashe courage award. Surrounded by family and friends to support her at her biggest public debut so far, Caitlyn was applauded and commended for her bravery in coming out as a transgender woman. By bringing light to the trans community and the issues they face, “I Am Cait” succeeded in its promise, to “do some good”. We can’t wait to see what Caitlyn has in store next.
