Ice Break is coming through for the lactose intolerant baddies, this time giving us a lactose-free version of their iconic iced coffee bevvy.

The famous iced coffee brand is teaming up with Zymil so that Aussies who suffer from lactose intolerance can enjoy a bottle of chilled caffeine.

Ice Break Lactose Free will contain the same double shot espresso goodness, like the regular Ice Break, but will have Zymil’s lactose free, low-fat milk.

According to ProCon.org, more than 65% of the adult human population suffers from lactose intolerance and in Australia, according to Ice Break, one in four Aussies are sensitive to dairy.

“With one in four Australian consumers sensitive to dairy, this newest member of the Ice Break line-up is perfect to satisfy those seeking a real coffee recharge, that’s easy to digest,” Ice Break told RetailWorld.

So say goodbye to awkward runs to the toilet after your daily iced coffee break! And if you’re like me, you know that feeling of panic when you’ve skolled an iced coffee.

Quick disclaimer for those who are thirsty for this drink – although it is lactose free, it is NOT dairy free. Milk is still present so be cautious if you are allergic to dairy products!

Ice Break Lactose Free only comes in the OG Ice Break flavour, but hopefully we’ll see other flavours such as mocha, triple shot, and regular strength.

This lactose-free treat is available now at Woolworths, Coles, independent groceries, petrol and convenience stores across Australia. Yew!
