Iggy Azalea And Azealia Banks Are Making Music Together Now And We Are All Confused
In an unexpected turn of events, Iggy Azalea is getting cosy with her arch nemesis Azealia Banks!? What the hell? Apparently the ladies are putting their differences aside and collaborating on a track for Iggy’s upcoming album. Did not see that coming.
The Iggy Azalia vs. Azealia Banks feud is not one so easily forgotten. It had a good run (If you need a refresher you can revisit that drama). Banks has a real talent for twitter rants and her roasting of Iggy has produced a lot of gems. Like, remember that time Banks was really keen to “fill a jar with piss and mayo and eggs and just dump that shit on that bitch’s head LMFAOOOOOOO“. Those were the good old days.
But now the tides have turned. Iggy broke the news on Snapchat and made it pretty clear she’s not interested in your shit if you have a problem with this. So it’s safe to say there’s been no maaaajor attitude adjustment or character transformation on Iggy’s end.

She’s adamant that they are burying the hatchet moving on. So this battlefield is closed apparently.
I dont expect you guys to understand why i would collaborate with someone who has publicly said they hope i die.

This has been something extremely negative for so long, if there is a way to make it positive and also be creative together, im here for it.

If this is the case then it’s an unexpectedly mature move and we’re honestly impressed. Like, very very impressed considering the level of animosity between the pair previously, which was entertaining as hell but embarrassing for both.
We also have a sneaky suspicion that this “way to make it positive” could be translated to mean a way to get the spotlight and some positive publicity for the two and Iggy’s album. If its a publicity stunt then it’s working tbh because we are intrigued. Very keen to hear what this collab sounds like.
As a side note, props to Iggy for making her mark with this female rapper collab. Go team.
Iggy Azalea is the only female rapper to feature another female rapper on her own official studio album this decade. Female rap unity! ???? pic.twitter.com/Hl3tlIyLlR
