The Conjuring 2 Has Literally Scared Someone To Death, But The Body Has Vanished
A 65 year-old-man has died after watching The Conjuring 2, but where is his body? No one knows.
I don’t know why I like horror movies. I like the nauseating feeling of forced fear; onscreen entertainment making it difficult to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night without trembling.
Sometimes, in the really intense scenes, I feel sick or dizzy or on verge of tears… but that’s about as bad as it gets. For an unnamed 65 year-old man in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu, the experience wasn’t quite so black and white.
On Thursday 16 June, the man and his friend reportedly went to watch the long-awaited horror sequel The Conjuring 2 at the Sri Balasubramaniar Cinemas in Tiruvannamalai. During the climax of the film, the man suffered from chest pains causing him to lose consciousness and was rushed to a nearby hospital- where he was declared dead.
In a reaction to suspicious and unclear causes of the sudden death, medics ordered his body to be sent to the Tiruvannamalai Government Medical College Hospital for post-mortem BUT according to the Times of India, the body and the person charged with transporting it, were both reported missing.
*SCREAMS*
The case has gone on to spark a number of other highly questionable claims, that have rapidly gone viral in a social media frenzy.
Facebook user, Damian Ng Yih Leong, claimed he and a friend returned from seeing the film in Malaysia to find a cross drawn on their hotel bathroom mirror.
“It was freshly drawn, as I could see water creeping down on one side of the cross, and the stain is still fresh,” Leong wrote.
A video appearing to film a woman who “got possessed while watching The Conjuring 2” has also sparked interest, being viewed close to five million times since being uploaded last week.
However, the video is believed have been filmed in 2013, long before the horror sequel was released.
Horror films make people go crazy, what can I say.
The depths of internal turmoil are rarely explored in a way that truly reaches us, so when it does: who can control what happens!? Perhaps the majority of the population enjoy revelling in the fantasy of ghosts as much as I do, or maybe it’s all just an attempt to try to drum up some media attention.
While there’s bound to be an explanation of the whereabouts of the man’s body and the carer – until then – we can continue to believe in the magic of horror and SCURRY SHIT.
