AHHH: There’s An Instagram Bug Deleting Accounts At Random
A bunch of Instagram accounts have just disappeared. Poof. Gone. With no explanation!?
Do not fuck with us Instagram.
IG users have been flooding Twitter, Facebook, Reddit and other sites venting that they can no longer login to the pic sharing platform. It appears their mobile numbers no longer verify the existence of the accounts either. Rightfully, the internet is freaking the hell out.
There doesn’t seem to be a pattern either, just a whole bunch of unlucky individuals who’s accounts have been snatched away from their innocent, selfie-taking hands. Where these victimised accounts once were, there’s now only the “sorry, this page isn’t available” message. Bleak.jpg.
While some users were in meltdown, Instagram tried to play it cool and tweeted something totally random instead of addressing the problem. Users pounced on the tweet and demanded an explanation and the safe return of their accounts. People are pisssssssed.

Instagram wisened up and gave us the vague ‘we’re workin on it’ speal to allay our anxieties.
We’re aware of a bug that's causing some users to be logged out of their accounts. We’re working to resolve this as quickly as possible.

As far as we know the accounts aren’t permanently deleted, it’s just a temporary hiatus between some users and their Grams. For no apparent reason. For who knows how long. Gr8.
Pray to the social media gods that this is fixed up quick smart or there will be blood.
