Instagram’s Subtle New Feature Is About To Make Ya Life A Whole Lot Easier
Instagram have FINALLY added a ‘drafts’ feature to let you save bulk snaps and post later.
You’ve managed to filter the perfect Insty snap. The thing is rocking a bit of Gingham, exposure is up and you’ve decreased the saturation just that little bit – delicious. Only it’s 2am and not a soul is online to see your latest piece of art. Fear not.
Instagram has finally rolled out an overdue ‘drafts‘ feature into the app. All users on the app can now save work mid-edit and can make further adjustments and/or post another time. Facebook began testing the service some time ago, but now all users can reap the benefits.
It’s especially a win for heavy users and professional gramers that use Instagram for work. While users are unable to schedule posts, it’s finally makes it way easier to upload and edit images in bulk, save them for later and post them out periodically.
To save save a photo as a draft, all you need to do is hit the back button mid-post and the app will ask whether or not you want to save the photo to your drafts. Saved drafts will appear in a special section of your library, above the rest of your photos, the next time you open the app.
The app also has a new ‘manage’ button where users will be able to see drafts and remove images they no longer want to work on.
