Introducing The #NutScapes Meme – The Ballsy Images With A Touch Of Gonad

Nutscaping is the new meme for those tired of instagraming the same old picturesque landscape, whilst hoping to add a new dynamic to their social feed with a subtle hint of testicle.

The juvenile trend has something mesmerizing about it that you can’t turn away from. Maybe it’s the degree of difficulty, the creativity or just the spectacle of coily hairs drooping from shadowy man bits.

Fuelled by an official Tumblr page that claims the photos are “selfies for real men,” the author collects images submitted with the #Nutscapes hashtag and syndicates them across Twitter and Facebook (as well as a former channel on Instagram that was recently removed due to TOS violations). The comando photographic technique involves shooting pictures backwards through the legs to capture the scenery with an understated photobomb from a nut. Founder Clancy Philbrick said to Mashable that he thinks the project has “great artistic depth because it touches upon both a low-brow vulgarity and a high-brow concept.”

The images aren’t as confronting as blatant dicks in your feed, but rather a simple ode to the majestic nut and nature combined. It’s a celebration of freedom in the wild.

While it may not be everyone’s cup of tea, it’s been gathering some serious momentum, speeding towards #planking #cone-ing and #fingerstache levels. Let’s just hope someone jumps on this as a tool to raise awareness of testicular cancer.
