Ivan & Aleks From ‘MAFS’ Could Still Very Well Be Together

Let’s be real: we watch Married At First Sight with little to no expectation that any of the couples will actually make it work.

The Cams and Jules’ of the world are rare. And while we’ve pinned our early hopes on Cathy and Josh, who knows what the dinner parties will bring.

On last night’s episode, we saw the unlikely pairing of Ivan and Aleks – well, they’re both real estate agents so I guess in the eyes of the experts that means they’re destined to make it work. I should start applying that logic to my own dating life so I can start dating another dumb bitch who spends too much time watching and analysing this show.

Moving on, let’s just call it how it is: Ivan is quite eccentric, Aleks is horrified she’s 26 and never lived with a man. They both come from European families, so it means they’re both “feisty” and won’t back down easily. Can’t wait to use my big, Italian family as an excuse for the next time I’m wrong about something but don’t want to admit it.

While the two seemed to get along quite well, Aleks wasn’t afraid to pull Ivan into line whatsoever, which could be exactly what he needs – but she admitted he wasn’t her “usual type” which is usually code for “no, I’m not attracted to him.” In fact, she was after someone who looked like “Channing Tatum” so, well…

Ivan and Aleks were interviewed on Fitzy & Wippa this morning and while they were keeping coy, it seems pretty apparent they don’t HATE each other, which in MAFS land could mean they actually might make it work. They were also apparently holding hands when they arrived.

Aleks also dished that she wasn’t in contact with many people from the show, and dropped a sarcastic comment about tonight’s groom Michael.
